Dear Allenby Parents and Guardians,<\/p>\n
We are now in Year 2 of our school-wide Monthly Math Challenge at Allenby P.S. As you may know from past Principal\u2019s Messages, the idea of the Math Challenge is to share an open-ended math question at the beginning of each month with all classes, K\u20136.<\/p>\n
Students communicate their computational and reasoning skills in English or\u00a0en fran\u00e7ais,<\/em>\u00a0in writing, models, QR codes etc. As students complete the challenge in class, teachers post samples from JK-grade 6 on our display board near the main office for students to enjoy and discuss.
