The deadline for submitting donations is\u00a0<strong>June 5<\/strong>. Envelopes can be handed in to the office at anytime.<\/p>\n<p>Students in Grades 4-6 will be visiting classrooms to explain the purpose of the Heart and Stroke Foundation and other details related to our Skip-A-Thon.<\/p>\n<p>We will also be encouraging Allenby students to skip during recess and lunch breaks by joining some junior students who will be organizing various skipping activities.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, during first week of June students will be enjoying a mini skip-a-thon during their gym classes and we will celebrate our success with a school-wide Jump Day on <strong>June 17<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s open our hearts by helping others and strengthen our own hearts through skipping!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Next week we will be kicking off our\u00a0Jump Rope for Heart\u00a0fundraising campaign for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
