Joining the APA is a great way to:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li role=\"presentation\">connect with the school community,<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">contribute positively to student achievement, and<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">lend your skills and talents to a great cause (our kids!) or learn new skills!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We hope you will consider reaching out about one of the following positions:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li role=\"presentation\"><strong>APA Secretary<\/strong> \u2013 responsible for taking APA and Executive meeting minutes once per month<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\"><strong>Director of Fundraising<\/strong> \u2013 plan and lead amazing\u00a0community-building events<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\"><strong>Director of Health and Wellness<\/strong> \u2013 Oversee mindfulness initiatives, lice checks and speakers series<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\"><strong>Director of Communications<\/strong> \u2013 Oversee the APA&#8217;s various forms of communication<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\"><strong>Newsletter Editor<\/strong> \u2013 work with our current editor to compile, format and edit the Allenby Update (biweekly)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please contact <a href=\"mailto:lisa_m_parker@yahoo.ca?subject=APA%20Positions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lisa Parker<\/a>\u00a0for more information about these roles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The APA Team has a number of openings for next year.
