If you are looking for more information on the Parent Involvement Advisory Committee (PIAC) and the political lay of the land for the TDSB, please look over this document <\/a>that has compiled information. Keeping up to date with our school’s trustee Shelley Laskin\u2019s newsletters is really important because it gives information about upcoming TDSB meetings and information.<\/p>\n

We also wanted to let you know of two initiatives. Please see the information below and share widely with your community.<\/p>\n

1. Parents\/Caregivers as Partners Conference (PCasP)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each year the Board organizes the annual Parents\/Caregivers as Partners Conference. As we begin planning for the 2024-2025 Conference, we would like to hear ideas and suggestions from parents\/caregivers on how we can improve and how we can enhance this Conference. Your feedback from our last Conference provided us with some guidance.<\/p>\n

2. TDSB, Youth Mental Health Strategy (2023-2026) Survey<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Board is in the process of developing a 3-year TDSB, Youth Mental Health Strategy (2023-2026). Parents\u2019, Guardians\u2019 and Caregivers\u2019 perspectives about their children\u2019s mental health is very important. We would love to gather your input as we formalize this new strategy.<\/p>\n
