The DEI and Health &amp; Wellness Committees are excited to announce the creation of the\u00a0<strong>Allenby Family Cookbook<\/strong>, and we need your help to make it happen!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">We\u2019re inviting all families to share recipes that are meaningful to them, along with the stories behind them. This is more than just a cookbook\u2014it\u2019s an opportunity to celebrate our different cultures and traditions and to help us understand and appreciate one another more deeply. Whether it\u2019s a cherished holiday dish or a meal that brings your family together, we\u2019d love to showcase it in our community cookbook.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Here\u2019s what we\u2019re looking for:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Step-by-step recipe<\/strong>\u00a0for a dish that holds special meaning to your family.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>A short story<\/strong>\u00a0sharing why this recipe is important to you. Tell us about its background\u2014do you prepare it for a special occasion, or during a particular time of year? What is the tradition and history behind it, and why does it matter to your family?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>A photo<\/strong>\u00a0of the finished dish.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Optional<\/strong>: A photo of your family cooking or enjoying the dish together!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">To submit your recipe, please send it to <a href=\"mailto:allenbydei@gmail.com?subject=Allenby%20Family%20Cookbook\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Allenby DEI<\/a>.\u00a0The final deadline to submit is\u00a0<strong>January 30, 2025<\/strong>. We\u2019ll be sending occasional reminders in the newsletters, so keep an eye out!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">This is a community effort, and all are welcome to participate\u2014parents, teachers, administrative staff, and Allenby alumni.
