We were not particularly surprised  by the results, but  did note some patterns that are informing our  priorities and planning  for next year.<\/p>\n<p>We  are consulting with the Equity department,  Public Health, parent  representatives and our own staff to decide on  actions in the new  school year.\u00a0 We will also be working with a Caring  and Safe Schools  Committee that hopefully will include  active parent involvement. More  details to follow.<\/p>\n<p>Parents of future Grade 5 and 6 students  may appreciate knowing in advance that those students will be going to  the <strong>Island School<\/strong> early in the school year, the first group going  September 19 &#8211; 21, the  second group October 1-3 and  the third group October 3 &#8211; 5.
