A huge thank you to the entire Allenby community for making our Fun Fair such a successful and a fantastic day! A very special thank you to the exceptional Fun Fair Committee who put in great effort to make the event the success it was.<\/p>\n
We were informed yesterday that a decision was made to move the installation of the artificial turf at Allenby up one year to July 2015. Only one more year of our present field. One factor that impacted this decision was the dedication and organization of the Field Committee Chairs, Shannon Phillips and Gillian Uy. Many thanks to both of them. Please see below for more exciting information about this project.<\/p>\n
As the year comes to an end, please think about taking on a volunteer position with the APA for next year. We have something for everyone’s interests and time. A list of all the available positions will be posted shortly on the APA website. Thank you to all the many volunteers this year who gave their time to help our programs and events run so smoothly. We couldn’t have done it without you.<\/p>\n
The final APA meeting will be next Monday, June 23 from 7-9 in the library. We will be discussing the budget for next school year, as well as an update on the band\/strings program for 2014\/15. In light of the news of the field project being one year ahead, we will discuss how this may impact the budget. Please come out and give your input. The budget will be tabled in June and voted on in September. Please review our agenda and the May minutes<\/a>.
