The Allenby Free the Children group is a team of grade 6 leaders that put together numerous activities to donate to both global and local initiatives.\u00a0Our current local initiatives include:<\/p>\n<p>TOY DRIVE CURRENTLY UNDERWAY:\u00a0Please donate newly bought or unopened toys, books or gift cards <strong>by Tuesday, December 16<\/strong>, to be dropped off at room 112. Let\u2019s build smiles one gift at a time!<\/p>\n<p>BAKE SALE and JELLY BEAN COUNT:\u00a0A bake sale and jellybean count is coming on\u00a0<strong>Wednesday, December 10<\/strong>.\u00a0 All treats are priced $1 and up, and each guess for the jellybean count is 50 cents. Whoever has the closest guess gets to keep all the jelly beans.<\/p>\n<p>50\/50 DRAW:\u00a0Lastly, we are doing a 50\/50 draw on the night of the <strong>Wednesday, December 10 Showcase<\/strong>. Half the money is given to the winning ticket, while the other half goes to charity.<\/p>\n<p>The toys, gift cards and books will be given to Sick Kids Hospital, and the money from the other activities will go to <a href=\"http:\/\/allenbyparents.us9.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5b5527a684a32a91614edc1de&amp;id=3d2fd04b3d&amp;e=2a2ecce919\" target=\"_blank\">Toronto Foundation for Student Success<\/a>.
