In October we set out on a race to raise $100,000 for our schoolyard and thanks to the enthusiasm, energy and generosity of the Allenby community we have not only met, but surpassed our goal. Thanks to the dance-a-thon, individual donations, corporate\/community donations and the Soir\u00e9e for the Schoolyard, we have raised over $124,000!<\/p>\n<p>We are still awaiting word from the TDSB on the status of the tendering process and will continue to update the Allenby community as information becomes available. We were informed in November that the costs of the track would be more than initially anticipated. However, we feel that with what we have raised to date, we are well within the target to fund the improvements for Phase One<\/p>\n<p>Any funds not used in this Phase will be held and used towards Phase 2 of the schoolyard enhancement project.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you again Allenby!
