This is great. However, we need to all remember that there are no pets permitted in the schoolyard and especially on the turf field.<\/p>\n<p>The artificial turf does not biodegrade waste left behind by dogs, and as such, the remnants of such droppings (even after being cleaned up) often are still on our turf. Our students use the field extensively during the school day, many who enjoy rolling around on the turf (including putting their hands on the turf for example).<\/p>\n<p>Please remind your neighbours and friends that pets are strictly prohibited from being on our school grounds, and specifically prohibited from being on our turf field. There are several signs posted that you can refer people to if you see someone with their pet in the schoolyard.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your mindfulness and helping to remind others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the warmer weather arriving, more people are enjoying our outdoor play spaces at Allenby.
