June 18 for the 2nd annual Eglinton Way Scavenger Hunt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Bring the whole family to explore and enjoy The Eglinton Way with an afternoon full of fun activities, prizes, entertainment, sampling and an open market side walk sale.<\/p>\n Free Registration: 11:30am – 2pm Registration locations<\/strong> Grand prizes<\/strong> Entertainment<\/strong> Sidewalk Sale<\/strong> Prize Draw to benefit Oriole Parkway Playground<\/strong> From Oriole Parkway School<\/p>\n \u201cOriole Park Junior Public School wants to create a modern outdoor learning space. Children will be able to engage both physically and creatively with their natural environment. The space will include: fitness and balance elements, an outdoor chalkboard\/plexiglass, garden, musical area, sandbox, gardens, trees and greenery. The new play area will be larger and will extend beyond the current walkway off Braemar. There will be learning areas where teachers can take their classes. Children from Kindergarten through Grade 3 will benefit from this space designed to engage imaginations and creative. Children will be able to explore, run and create in ways that are currently not possible in the school playground. \nEast corner: Highbourne and Eglinton beside Crosstown Coffee<\/p>\n
\n1st prize: $1000 gift certificate to Ontario Resorts
\n2nd prize: $500 gift certificate to Medieval times
\n3rd prize: $250 gift package from local businesses<\/p>\n
\nEglinton Way will be animated with lots of lively entertainment during the event.<\/p>\n
\nEverything from massages and eyebrow therapy to cold juices on sale the day of the event. Come for a stroll and discover all that Eglinton has to offer.<\/p>\n
\nWe have partnered with the Oriole Parkway to support their playground fundraiser. Tickets for the prize draw will be sold the day of along Eglinton.<\/p>\n
