We’ve noticed an increase in the traffic around the school and the number of people using our St. Clements and Castlefield Drop Zones. We are very proud of our Drop Zone program and the traffic efficiency and student safety that it provides to our community in the mornings. We encourage all parents driving to school to use the Drop Zone, and we thank all of the volunteers who have helped with the Drop Zone program this year.

If you are driving to school please remember the following:

Avoid parking in the St. Clements Drop Zone. The St. Clements Drop Zone operates on the south side of St. Clements and extends from the bus zone all the way to the corner of Avenue Road and St. Clements. While the signs do allow 10-minute parking in this zone, we’ve respectfully asked parents to avoid parking there between 8:30 am and 9:30 am. After a successful trial of this new Drop Zone location, we will be asking City Council to approve a sign change prohibiting parking during this time.

Avoid parking in the Castlefield Drop Zone. The Castlefield Drop Zone operates on the north side of Castlefield and extends from the kindergarten zone to the corner of Castlefield and Avenue Road.
