CROSS COUNTRY, FOOTBALL, AND HOUSE LEAGUE<\/strong><\/h3>\n

It\u00a0was great to see the schoolyard bustling last week in the mornings with students running and throwing footballs. This year we will be offering a variety of extracurricular athletics for students.<\/p>\n

This fall,\u00a0students\u00a0in Grades 1\u20136 can join our Cross Country Running Club. Boys and girls in Grades 5\/6 can come out and learn to play football. Please see the\u00a0tryout\u00a0schedule below if your child(ren) would like to tryout for these clubs.<\/p>\n

Students in all grades will also begin house league\u00a0games, which take place during morning and afternoon recess and over the lunch period. The schedule for house league games will be\u00a0announced daily during\u00a0our morning announcements.<\/p>\n

\n8:00am Boys Football Grades 5\/6<\/p>\n

\n8:15am Cross Country Grades 1\u20136<\/p>\n

Upcoming Dates:<\/strong>
\nOctober 4th: Cross Country Meet at Earl Bales Park
\nOctober 19th: Cross Country Conference Finals, Grades 3\u20136 (Runners who qualified\u00a0at Earl\u00a0Bales Park)
\nOctober 26th: Cross Country City Championships, Grades 4\u20136 (Runners who qualified\u00a0at Centennial Park)<\/p>\n

Parents are welcome to attend the cross-country meet.\u00a0The permission form will be going home with students today, Friday, September\u00a023rd, and MUST be returned by Wednesday, September\u00a028th.\u00a0When you fill out the permission form, please ensure to check the box at\u00a0the top of the form to indicate if you will be driving your child to the meet, or if they will be taking the school bus.\u00a0NO CHANGES will be made after the forms are submitted on Wednesday.\u00a0If you are driving your child, please look for the school tent\/tarp to drop off your children.<\/p>\n
