While the APA normally does not advertise for third party vendors outside of school programs, in light of the unique circumstances for the one day strike this Tuesday December 18th<\/strong>, here is a list of some programs running in the GTA. This is for the convenience of Allenby families, and the APA does not endorse any of the listed vendors. We hope families find this to be a useful resource if you are in a bind for child care or just looking to keep your kids busy.<\/p>\n

Please also be aware that the scheduled December APA meeting<\/strong> for Tuesday from 7-9pm is happening<\/strong> and child care will be provided. See this weeks Allenby newsletter for details on agenda items.<\/p>\n

The Allenby Parents Association Executive<\/p>\n

Artbarn<\/h2>\n

From 9 to 4pm we will have a one day art-making and LEGO day to keep children (aged 4-10yrs) engaged during the TDSB one-day strike. Fee will be $50 ($15 for aftercare until 5pm). Call the school for more info at 416-518-6108.<\/p>\n

Active Kids Zone<\/h2>\n

This program will be fully supervised by AKZ staff and will keep the kids active and entertained for the full day.\u00a0 Some activities will include, Sports and Organized Games, Cooking and Fun Zone.
\nHours: 9 am to 4 pm (extended hours are available)
\nAges: 4 to 12 years old
\nCost: $50 including a lunch and 2 snacks (Lunch will be pasta with Tomato Sauce or Butter)

Lytton Park Tennis & Beach Blast<\/h2>\n

LPT will be running a multi-sport one day indoor camp at Beach Blast. There will be beach soccer, beach volleyball, beach dodgeball, beach tennis plus more.
\nHalf-Day: 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm $22.60 (includes tax)
\nFull Day: 9am-3:30 pm $33.90 (includes tax)
\nDrop off opens at 8:30am and pick up ends at 4:00pm. Earlier and later drop off can be arranged for a nominal fee.
\nLocation: Beach Blast 15 Leswyn Rd (minutes from Yorkdale)
\nSpace is limited and pre-registration is required.
