January’s APA meeting is next Wednesday, January 29<\/strong> from 7-9pm in the library. The agenda<\/a> is available at the APA website. We will begin a discussion on the APA Advertising Policy. As well, there are five motions on the table for voting:<\/p>\n

  1. To release the $10,000 in segregated funds that was reserved in September 2012 to demonstrate the APA’s commitment to playground and\/or field improvements<\/li>\n
  2. To spend up to $6000 on landscape architect comprehensive planning and design services for Allenby Jr. Public School’s main and kindergarten playgrounds<\/li>\n
  3. To increase the 2013-2014 APA technology budget by up to $4000 to augment the funding available in the technology budget as voted on at the May 2013 APA meeting to allow the purchase of Smart Technology for 5 classroom<\/li>\n
  4. To spend up to $2400 plus applicable taxes for a digital piano for Allenby Jr. P.S.<\/li>\n
  5. To spend up to $2000 for math manipulatives for the primary grades to teach geometry.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

All parents\/guardians of Allenby students are voting members of the APA. We encourage all to come, and hope to have a great turnout for both the discussion and the votes.<\/p>\n
