<\/p>\nAllenby is a large school with over 800 students and 80 staff members. In order to assist families with getting to know Allenby staff, each week in the Newsletter we are going to highlight a staff member. For the first week, we thought we should start with the ladies in the office.<\/p>\n

ALLENBY\u2019S OFFICE STAFF:<\/strong>\u00a0Amy Chan,\u00a0Jamie Bargis, and Renee Mazzei<\/p>\n DID YOU KNOW?<\/strong><\/p>\n Renee and Jamie have worked at Allenby for 21 and 20 years respectively, and Amy joined the team last year. Two years ago, Renee and Jamie won\u00a0TDSB\u2019s Excellence Award<\/strong>\u00a0for their commitment to the students, staff, and parents at Allenby. So well deserved!<\/p>\n WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT ALLENBY?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cAllenby is our home away from home. We love the interactions with the children, families, and community.\u201d<\/p>\n SOMETHING THAT MIGHT SURPRISE YOU!<\/strong><\/p>\n Renee:<\/strong>\u00a0She loves cooking and dancing (in fact, you can often find her dancing in the office). She also secretly loves the microphone so is always willing to make announcements.<\/p>\n Jamie:<\/strong>\u00a0She has an extraordinary memory, something the rest of us try to live up to. All four of Jamie\u2019s children attended Allenby, and she started at Allenby by being an active parent volunteer.<\/p>\n Amy:\u00a0<\/strong>She’s from Winnipeg and loves the cold.
