The FUNd Hard for Our Schoolyard Campaign is underway, but time is of the essence! The TDSB will only tender for the improvements that we have funds available for. We have until December 12 to show them our commitment to this project. The more we have in the bank by this date, the more improvements that can be installed this summer, and the sooner our children will benefit! These improvements include:
- A new running track with lines
- New basketball standards and hoops for different age groups
- Line painting (e.g. hopscotch, hundreds chart and four square)
- An outdoor storage shed to improve access to school equipment and activities
- A new naturalized play area within our playscape area
To date, we have raised over $30,000, but we have a long way to go! Get your donor pledge cards and cheques (payable to APA and specified for Schoolyard Campaign) into the School Office, OR donate online with Canada Helps (Please note that the APA will be charged a 3.9% service fee for any donations made online). Spread the word! Every donation, big or small, will help to achieve our goal AND is eligible for a tax receipt.
