The Allenby Fun Fair is now just days away. We have a great line up of rides, games, food and activities. There is something to do for the whole family. Bring a friend and show them how great the Allenby School Spirit is!
It’s not too late to be a part of the action! We are still looking for volunteers. Step up and show your school pride! Go to signupgenius.
Every shift earns a point towards the free recess challenge. Right now Rm 109, Rm 005 and Rm 215 are in the lead to win! Rooms 105, 108a (Kindergarten), Rooms 206, 104, 202, 211 (Primary) and Rooms 204, 205, 207, 214 (Junior) are close behind and with your help they could take the lead!
Remember, the fair can’t run without volunteers. Let’s not shut down the fun early – volunteer today! Volunteer check in on the day of the Fair is room 004.
A few last minute reminders:
Tickets/Wristbands:
Orders were sent home this week. Additional tickets/wristbands can be purchased at the fair (cash or cheque).
Class Baskets:
Class Baskets are to be dropped off Friday between 4-7pm in Room 103. While you’re at the Fair, don’t forget to check out all the amazing class baskets. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or credit card.
Be Prepared:
We want everyone to have fun and be safe! Remember to come prepared with sunscreen, hats, and water bottles. We will be selling drinks and water at the fair too, but it is always a good idea to stay hydrated. Come enjoy a great lunch with eats from The Healthy Butcher, Lifestyle Choices, and Pizza Pizza. Also some sweet treats from The Mad Bean and Phipps.
Rain or Shine:
Whatever Mother Nature has in mind for Saturday, we are prepared! The fair is on rain or shine. (but if everyone can do a sunshine dance, that would be great!)
