APA Speaker Series: Dr. Alex Russell, Author of Drop the Worry Ball

APA Speaker Series: Featuring Dr. Alex Russell, Author of Drop the Worry Ball, on November 22, 2017 – come join us!

On November 22nd, Dr. Alex Russell will offer a perspective that aims to help parents take a positive and emotionally rewarding role in their children’s lives, while allowing them to have the opportunity to make their own decisions (and mistakes) while they are growing up. He will address the common challenges that parents face, including dealing with troublesome behaviours, supporting children at school, and controlling or monitoring children’s access to computers, cell phones and other forms of digital technology.

So far, we have had an enormous response from Allenby parents to this event! If you have signed up already, thank you and we look forward to seeing you on November 22nd.

We have extended this invitation to other TDSB Ward 8 families who wish to attend and hear Dr. Russell’s important and relevant message on the topic of raising resilient children and helping kids thrive in anxious times. So, if you haven’t already signed up, please RSVP ASAP. Space is limited so be sure to reserve your seat!
