The first APA meeting of the year will be held on Thursday, September 27th from 7-9 pm in the school library. For new parents and those of you who have not yet attended a meeting, this is where you have the opportunity to learn about all the different programs and initiatives taking place at Allenby. There is always a school update done by our Principal, Jennie Ucar, as well as a financial update done by the Treasurer. The meetings are also a venue to voice concerns and give suggestions and input. It is also a place to vote. This month we will be voting on the 2012-2013 Operating Budget. It was presented to the parents in June, in accordance with our bi-laws, and is now ready for vote. It is available on our site for review.
This months agenda will also include the general election for Chair and Directors as well as committee updates to help you better understand what these different areas are, which of their programs need volunteers as well as new and important information.
Childcare is provided in the lunchroom with an rsvp to Lori Miller.
