As part of the TDSB’s Universal Screening Process for Grade 3 students, all grade 3 students will take the Canadian Cognitive Abilities Test, a standardized group test of ability. This year all grade 3 students will be taking the test online.
The results of this test will be used by school personnel to gain a better understanding of your child’s learning strengths and needs and will provide educators with key information for differentiating instruction to improve student achievement.
All parents/guardians with a child in grade 3 were sent information about the screening on Oct. 12th, and the screening will be administered anytime between October 19th and October 28th.
