Win a Gourmet Pizza Lunch for your Child’s Class
Come on, Allenby community! Help your child’s class win a gourmet pizza lunch complete with pizza, juice, fruit, veggies and a surprise dessert! Fun Fair 2011 is only one month away and we still need 140 volunteers to make this event possible. And so, the Fun Fair committee has decided to up the ante, and we are offering a gourmet pizza lunch to the class that pulls in the most volunteers.
May we remind you… a volunteer does not have to be a parent, we also accept older siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles… If you would like to volunteer, please contact Lisa Parker at lisa_m_parker@yahoo.ca. Please include your child(ren)’s room number in your email. Thank you to all those who have already volunteered!
High School Student Volunteers Welcome
High school students who volunteer at the Fun Fair earn community service hours! Working the whole day (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.) would qualify for 10 hours! Of course shorter time commitments are welcome, but a minimum of 4 hours is needed. Parents of high school students – please let your children know of this option. Dunk Tank Volunteers Needed
If you are not afraid of getting wet, we need you! We are looking for Dunk Tank volunteers. A volunteer shift lasts for 20 minutes, and dunking Allenby parents is very popular at the Fair!
