Fun Fair is Less Than 2 Weeks Away! The 2011 Allenby Fun Fair will be held on Saturday June 4th from 12 to 4 p.m. Enjoy great food including organic hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, watermelon, ice cream, cotton candy, freezies, and cold drinks! Go on rides and a climb a climbing wall! Play carnival games and sports skill games! Win great prizes! See creepy crawlers, build Lego, get tattoos, nail and face painting, do arts and crafts, and hear great DJ music! Bid on fabulous class baskets and other items! See Allenby staff in the Dunk Tank! It’s the perfect opportunity to have fun and support Allenby at the same time! Bring the whole family!
Who Will Win the Gourmet Pizza Lunch?
With less than 2 weeks until Fun Fair 2011, the race for volunteers is still being led by Room 106 – Mme. Jovanovic’s class. Mme. Duncan’s afternoon kindergarten class is only one volunteer behind Room 106. And rooms 102 and 113 are also not far behind. At this point, any class could win the gourmet pizza lunch as we still need to fill 15 volunteer positions.
We need help filling the Friday night set-up shift and the ride shifts at 2:45. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Lisa Parker at lisa_m_parker@yahoo.ca. May we remind you… a volunteer does not have to be a parent, we also accept older siblings, grandparents aunts, uncles… Please include your child(ren)’s room number in your email. Dunk Tank Volunteers Needed
If you are not afraid of getting wet, we need you! We are looking for Dunk Tank volunteers. A volunteer shift lasts for 20 minutes, and dunking Allenby staff and parents is very popular at the Fair!
