It has been a busy week at Allenby with Gord Martineau from CityNews visiting a Grade 4 Project Give Back class on Tuesday to hear Leah Riczker talk about her charity of choice, the Herbie Fund, AND our Showcase #2 on Wednesday night.
Spelling Bee practices started this week for students who are interested in improving their spelling skills. Students can still register until January 31 for the WR3 Spelling Bee in April. Please refer to the information that is posted on the school website for more information. Copies of the registration form and the parent/guardian permission form are in the office. Any student in grades 1 through 6 is able to practice with us even if they are not intending to participate in the Bee event. Practices are usually held Tuesdays and Thursdays during afternoon recess in the library.
