Principal’s Message

Everyone knows that Allenby promotes walking to school as much as possible, particularly for our older students in grades 4 through 6.  If, however, you do need to pick up a student at the end of the school day, we ask that you park one block west of the school OR if your child is in grade 5 or 6, come about 10 minutes after the dismissal bell at 3:45 p.m. Older students often get out of the school building later and by coming at 3:45 p.m. it can help to reduce the traffic around the school between 3:20 and 3:40 p.m.
