June has arrived and that usually means a countdown until the last day of school. This year, students will be attending school until June 27, which is a Friday. Before that last day of school, however, many events will be taking place such as Dental Screening next week, the best ever FUN FAIR, many field trips, a Sound Sense presentation for grades 4 and 5, a Dance Party (a donation from the Rowland family), the primary play day and of course the Grade 6 Graduation. Allenby will also have a Polling Station in the gym for the election on June 12 and host our Kindergarten Open House for new families on June 19. It is very fitting that our Character Trait is PERSEVERANCE this month as we all pick up the pace for the final few weeks of this school year.
