It is with very mixed emotions that I prepare to leave Allenby. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the APA to support the Allenby students and staff over the past two years. Despite the lack of space, the sense of community and pride within the Allenby school building is evident daily. I would like to thank all of the tireless volunteers who have contributed in so many ways to the school.
My tears at the graduation ceremony were difficult to hold back as I watched our grade 6 students perform their song for us. I am confident that Allenby will continue to be an excellent school in years to come.
The staff at Allenby wish everyone a safe and enjoyable summer break and a new playing surface to use in September.
