Dear Allenby Families,
We have news that the plans for the new classrooms have been approved by the Ministry and City of Toronto. The next step is the final approval at the TDSB December board meeting. It is hoped that some interior work can begin over the December break and the exterior construction should be on schedule to start in January. Safety measures will be put into place to preclude construction vehicles from accessing the fenced work area during arrival, lunch and dismissal times during school days. Measures will be taken to minimize noise and debris for students in the classrooms.
