Private School Applications

Each year we receive requests, especially with regard to graduating students, for private school reference letters and packages to be completed. Please know that all relevant information about a child’s learning (academic and achievement) is found within the provincial report cards. If parents cannot find previous report cards at home, we are happy to make a copy. Allenby staff do not complete reference letters and private school applications—a common practice among many TDSB schools. This is not a new policy and know that it has never had an impact on an Allenby student’s entrance to a school. If a headmaster or headmistress is requesting further information about a student, Mrs. O’Toole is happy to have a conversation with them.
