Allenby hockey 2013-2014
First, it was the women, then came the men. Double gold. Sochi is done, but the Young Lions live on! Our boys’ helmets may be red, blue and black, but the likes of Northlea and John Ross Roberston are green with envy. Fresh off an exciting 8-round shootout victory in the semi-final, Allenby is the team that will take to the ice to defeat Bessborough for the title of champion. There may not be many triple A’ers on the squad, but who cares about letters when coach Osborne has the boys playing high-intensity team hockey. Doing his best impression of Denzel, coach O is doing his best so the Allenby community will “Remember the Lions”!
