February 24, 2014 – the excavated hill
The school-yard is really beginning to look different this week. The great mounds of dirt have been removed in preparation for concrete work to begin. Due to the time sensitivity of the concrete work, the concrete trucks will need to enter the building site upon arrival. Where possible, workers will avoid busy times for the school; however, there may be some instances when a truck is delayed due to traffic and may arrive during a transition time. The gates will remain up at all times and safety will continue to be our number one objective, with at least one flagman to supervise any site entry or exit. Renovating is always a bit of an adjustment, and we thank everyone for their patience. We are all looking forward to opening the doors of our new Allenby wing.
