Dear Parents,
We have had a number of staff changes this fall due to pregnancy and parental leaves in addition to medical leaves. Please know that I inform parents of staff changes by letter as soon as they become known and will continue to do so. Additionally our vice principal, Bev Purchase, has been off for the last number of weeks due to a medical leave. We have had some acting vice principals assisting in the office. Jennie Ucar, a former Allenby principal, will be the acting vice principal at Allenby and will remain until the winter break. I am happy to welcome Jennie back to Allenby and her knowledge of the school, staff and students has been a great help in ensuring a smooth transition. We wish Bev a speedy recovery.
