Have you heard? Big Night Out is the APA fundraising event of the season! It’s an adult’s only evening where the community meets to reconnect, enjoy delicious food, dance and have tons of fun! Big Night Out will actually be a Big Night Out as we are moving out of the gym and into 6 Degrees – an upscale club at 2335 Yonge Street, north of Eglinton. And, as always – it promises to be a shopping extravaganza!
Local businesses, Allenby parents and Allenby teachers have donated over $30,000 to make this year’s Big Night Out a success. Now it’s your turn to show your support for our school and our children. Buy your tickets, take a volunteer shift and get ready for some serious deals and lots of fun!

We are aiming to sell 250 tickets this year and we still have a long way to go! We need your help to reach our goal! Please return forms and cheques to the school office. Tickets will also be available at the door, but pre-orders are encouraged. Thanks to parents who have already purchased Big Night Out tickets.

Food, Desserts, Drinks, 50/50 Draw and Glo-Wear
Santo Pecado will be providing mouthwatering Mexican fare for the evening. We also have delicious sushi from EDO. Sample our assortments of wine or have a beer provided by Mill Street Brewery. Be sure to save room for desserts from Phipps, Short and Sweet Cupcakes, Twisted Sister Pretzels, Cookiegrams and Hotel Gelato. Don’t forget our famous candy buffet provided by Johnvince Foods.
Participate in our 50/50 raffle (you might actually make money at this event!) and get into the spirit with BNO Glo-Wear!
Silent Auction
We will have some very exciting things on our auction tables for you – there is bound to be something there to please every person in your family! You will find neighbourhood shopping and dining experiences, children’s programs, camps and birthday parties, gift baskets and certificates, and health and fitness services. We also have a great selection of one-of-a-kind Allenby Experiences from our wonderful Allenby staff that will definitely be sought after items.

- a Gallery Child Experience,
- a Beaver Valley Ski Weekend, and
- Sessions at camps including Bayview Glen, Canadian Pro Hockey, Lytton Park Tennis, Martha Hicks and Zodiac.
New This Year – We will be staggering the close of our silent auction tables, so make sure that you don’t arrive too late and miss out on some amazing items!

Auction Payment
Payment by credit card will be available, but please bring cash or cheques to avoid the auction checkout line-up at the end of the evening.
Still Looking for a Babysitter?
No childcare? Not an excuse! Five Peas in a Pod has generously offered to provide childcare for Allenby families from 6pm to 10pm on November 7th. Your kids can have a night out, while you do too! Child care rates ar $10/hour with 50% of the proceeds being donated back to the APA. Chicken Fingers and veggies will be served between 6pm and 7pm. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited.
