On behalf of the APA, and with the assistance of a “Parents Reaching Out Grant” from the TDSB, we invite you to join us to hear Doone Estey, certified Adlerian Parent Educator and Co-Founder of the Parenting Network, speak about “Stopping the Power Struggles.” Her presentation will cover the following:
- the reasons behind your child’s behaviour;
- the problem with control;
- tips for avoiding a power struggle;
- responses that create more harmony and co-operation; and
- the use of consequences and other positive discipline methods.
