What is FSLAC Doing in Preparation for Trustee Elections?

On Monday, October 27, 2014, as part of the municipal election, we have the opportunity to vote for TDSB trustees. Trustees are very important in the running of our school board – they pick the priorities and they approve the budget. They advocate for our kids and the programs we want to have for them.

What you can do:

Check who your trustee candidates are on the city website.

Learn more about what trustees do on the Ontario Public School Board Association election site.

When you see your local candidates at an all candidates’ meeting or in the community, ask one of these suggested questions from Canadian Parents for French.

Share this article from the Toronto Star with friends, family and neighbours to encourage voters to make an informed choice for trustee.

What your FSLAC is doing:

FSLAC is sending a short survey to every trustee candidate about French programs and we will be sharing the responses with you via email before the advance polls open on Tuesday, October 14.

Your vote matters for all of our kids. You can help maintain and improve our French as a Second (Official) Language programs and make the TDSB an even better place to go to school.
