The Allenby Parents’ Association is excited to announce our 2nd Annual Halloween Scavenger Hunt taking place in our neighbourhood on Saturday, October 30th.
RAIN DATE SUNDAY, OCTOBER 31ST
If required, this will be communicated to families by email Saturday morning at 9:00 AM.
The APA Halloween Scavenger Hunt is organized so that Allenby families can participate at any time of the day, on their own time, on Saturday, October 30th. Please ensure you are following all provincial guidelines and remember that even though the hunt is outdoors, families are encouraged to socially distance and wear masks as appropriate.

All entries will be eligible to win one of four $75 gift cards from The Abbott, 7 Numbers, Ferraro and The Mad Bean, along with some treat bags for the kiddos!
How Does the APA Halloween Scavenger Hunt Work?
- Review the APA Halloween Scavenger Hunt List
- Plan your route — there are lots of decorations out there. You just have to hunt for them!
- Take a photo of each item you find and be creative!
- Take a photo of the “Allenby Lion” Mascot — there are two laminated posters hidden in the neighbourhood (between Castlewood, Duplex, Lytton and Roselawn)
- NEW this year! Keep your eyes open for the real life characters that will be roaming the neighborhood. Can you spot them? Can you get their picture? If you spot them, feel free to post pictures on Twitter to help others track them down! Just remember to tag your post @AllenbyPS and @AllenbyPS_TDSB and #APAHalloweenScavengerhunt

- Deadline for submissions: Sunday, October 31st – midnight
APA Tip
Instead of attaching 20 pictures, create a few collages of your pictures, so that you only need to upload 2-3 attachments.
