The countdown is on and the excitement is building as we are just under one month away from Fun Fair!! We hope you have June 11 from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM marked in your calendars for this fabulous event. Thirty amazing volunteers are hard at work planning what is sure to be a fantastic afternoon for the entire Allenby community.
Ticket and wristband pre-sales will kick-off in next Friday’s edition of the newsletter, and you will want to make sure you order yours in advance to enjoy all the fun!
Also, look out for the Call for Volunteers for the day of the Fun Fair. It truly takes a village to run this event so if you’re planning to attend, please consider signing up for a volunteer shift (donate your time and your child’s class could earn an extra recess!).
Finally, it’s our last call for Community Sponsors. If you own a business or work for a company that would like to provide financial support or an in-kind donation of goods and services to the Fun Fair (through an auction item, Prize Room, or cash donation), the deadline to contribute is today, May 13th. Eligible donations will receive a tax receipt. Please contact Vivian Ng or Mitzi Shapera to contribute.
