Information packages will be coming home next week about all things APA. In the meantime, we’ve had a lot of interest in the class representative process for this school year. This position is changing slightly to encourage communication between the school and the parent community. This year, each class will have an Allenby Parents’ Association Representative (APA Representative) (formerly known as Class Representatives). The APA Representative will be the primary link between the APA and all Allenby parents/guardians. The new role of the APA Representative will be to receive and transmit information for the APA, attend bi-monthly APA meetings, and help with baskets for the June Fun Fair. The APA Representative role is a guaranteed way to be a part of what is going on at Allenby and being an APA Representative will give you the opportunity to meet and welcome parents and guardians in your child’s class.
If you are interested in becoming an APA Representative, we’d love to have you! Please complete the Name Advancement Form that will be coming home in backpacks early next week. Or, download the form now and hand it into the bin in the office. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Diana Bold.
