What Is It?
The Kiss ‘N’ Ride (KNR) Program is a school/APA initiative to promote Safe Arrival for students who need to drive to school. It is easy and convenient for Parents and Grade 1 to 6 Students. Simply, drive west on Castlefield Avenue and drop off your child at the Kiss ‘N’ Ride Zone. Volunteers will be there to open the doors, take backpacks and ensure your child(ren) arrive safely into the playground. There is no need to look for parking and you don’t need to get out of the car! Once you have dropped off your children, we ask that you continue to drive west on Castlefield Avenue. Please do not do a 3 point turn in the school zone. This is unsafe for walkers and slows down traffic. For detailed instructions and a map, please visit the Traffic Safety page.
We Need Volunteers
In order for this program to run, we need volunteers. If you have time from 8:40 till 9 a.m. on any day of the week, consider volunteering for KNR. Weekly or biweekly commitments are welcome or you can put your name as a backup. If interested, please contact Allon Riczker.
