- Throughout the school year we will be recognizing important Days of Significance and Heritage/History months. We are encouraging students to select a Day of Significance or Heritage/History month, do some research, write 4-5 sentences about the topic and then record themselves and we’ll play it on the announcements.
- All TDSB schools begin the school day with the Land Acknowledgement, just before the playing of O’Canada. We would like to extend an opportunity to any interested students to participate in recording themselves reading one of the Land Acknowledgements. Each day one student’s recording will be used. The name of the student and his/her class will be announced before the recording is played.
