Yes, we’re very excited to launch another fun, yummy and exciting Pizza Lunch program. A few pointers for this year:
- Mark your calendar: First Pizza Lunch of the year is: Friday, September 28.
- Order Forms will be going home with your child in the coming days. Should they happen to go astray, fear not. They are also available here on the Allenby Parents website.
- Please submit cheques and order forms to your child’s teacher by Friday, September 14. Pizza Lunch is managed by parent volunteers, and we need the time to settle and coordinate details to be ready for the first Pizza Lunch of the year.
- Please keep a record of your order. We rely on an “honour” system to distribute the correct number of slices to each child. We find that many kids forget how many slices they ordered. We kindly ask you to remind them of their order. Have your order handy, or make a note of it in your child’s agenda, so you can refer to it throughout the year. We will send reminders of the Pizza Lunch dates via the Allenby Update just before Pizza Lunch. Hopefully this will alleviate the discrepancies we experienced last year.
- Want to feed a fun and hungry crowd? Join us on Friday, September 28 in the Lunch Room at 11:00 am. We would love to see new parents and connect with “old” volunteers.
